Starbotton is a small limestone village 15 miles north of Skipton situated midway between Kettlewell and Buckden in the beautiful countryside of Upper Wharfedale. Nearby is the River Wharfe where you can walk through ancient woodlands, past limestone crags to the high moorland fells and limestone pavements. The river is well-stocked with trout and grayling (day tickets are available).
